Pantless Peeping Tom arrested in Loganville

Francisco Rodriguez, 41, of 3465 Midway Cove Drive in Loganville was arrested and charged with being a peeping Tom, public intoxication and public indecency after a woman on Joni Boulevard in Loganville reported an unknown man, naked from the waist down, was peering inside her windows. She said he was only wearing a sweatshirt, appeared to be drunk and was also trying to open her door with a key.

When police responded to the call, Rodriguez reportedly was found peering into the window of another home. According to the police report, he immediately lay on the ground in a prone position before even being given instructions to do so. He was naked from the waist down and wearing no shoes and only one sock.

Police reported difficulty in getting information from both the victim and the suspect, partly because of a language barrier and partly because the suspect appeared to be very drunk. However, from Rodriquez repeated statements of “He was racing me,” police thought that he was possibly running from someone. When asked why he had no pants on, Rodriquez reportedly said, “He took them off.”

Before arriving at the jail, Rodriquez reportedly vomited on himself. Police radioed ahead to the Gwinnett County Detention Center to make sure someone would meet them at the patrol car with pants for the suspect to put on before taking him in for booking.
