No Injuries Reported in Single-Car Rollover Accident

Officials said no charges were filed against the 18-year-old Loganville driver involved.

Walton County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Friday that nobody was injured in a single-car rollover accident that happened on Centerville Rosebud Road. A spokesman from the WCSO said an 18-year-old woman from Loganville was the driver of the Kia Spectra that was involved in the accident.

According to Herman McCart, a Loganville resident who came up on the accident around noon, when it had just happened, a man from the neighborhood assisted the victim out of the overturned car. McCart said several witnesses to the accident also stopped to help. He said a witness said it looked as though the driver of the Kia had exited from Ga. 20 onto Centerville Rosebud Road, drifting into the face of oncoming traffic. In swerving to get back into her lane, she went off the road causing the car to roll over. McCart said the vehicle was towed by Jay’s Wrecker Service.

“Walton County Fire Rescue Service had two vehicles on the scene, Walton County Emergency Medical Service had one vehicle on the scene and the accident was worked by the Walton County Sheriff’s Department,” McCart said.
