Sand spilled from the truck closed two lanes on Scenic Highway.
A dump truck overturned late Wednesday morning, spilling sand all over a busy Snellville road.
Two lanes were blocked for a time on Scenic Highway, just north U.S. 78, Snellville police chief Roy Whitehead told the Gwinnett Daily Post.
The dump truck was northbound on Scenic Highway and reportedly ran a red light while attempting to take a left turn onto Oak Road. The truck collided with an SUV and toppled over.
