Members of the Walton County Sheriff's Office were in the Youth/Jersey area Monday night with bloodhounds searching for a burglary suspect.

Members of the Youth community were surprised by what appeared to be a manhunt in their neighhood Monday night.

Youth Jersey and Stewart Road was the area where conducted a search for one of two suspects who were interrupted during a burglary.

“The deputy was able to apprehend one of them, but the other one got away,” said Walton County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Bruce Wright. “We had the dogs out there looking for him, but we think that he left the area.”
