A Loganville bus driver sustained minor injuries while transporting children to school Tuesday morning in a hit and run accident. No students were injured.

A Georgia State Patrol spokesman confirmed that a Walton County bus driver, Wendy Lee Ginn, 37, of Loganville, suffered minor injuries this morning following a collision between the school bus and a pickup truck.

GSP reported that a Walton County school bus was headed northbound on Highway 81, just south of Tom Brewer Road, when a black pickup truck passed in a no passing zone. It struck the bus in the front fender of the bus and then left the scene.

GSP report that the only injury was to Ginn and she did not require transportation to a hospital. No students were injured. The truck has not been located.
