LFD to Be Recognized for Saving Two Lives

In two separate incidents, two men were resuscitated by members of Loganville Fire Department after experiencing cardiac arrest. They will be recognized at Thursday's City Council meeting.

Chief Danny Roberts told attendees at the TRIAD meeting in Loganville on Friday of two rescues that were performed recently by members of his department.

"Two gentlemen were in full cardiac arrest and we got there in 4 minutes," Robert said, adding in both separate instances, the men are still living. "Which is great considering only 16 to 20 percent are saved once CPR has been initiated."

Roberts said everyone involved would be honored at Thursday's Meeting on Thursday. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. at Loganville City Hall on Pecan Street.
