Firefighters Quickly Extinguish Front-Porch Fire Near Loganville

Firefighters arrived on scene just past noon.

Gwinnett firefighters quickly put out a moderate-sized fire at a Loganville-area home Tuesday afternoon.

Firefighters were dispatched at 12:05 p.m. to the 4100 block of Alaina Avenue and found flames and smoke coming from the front porch.

The fire was under control around 12:30 p.m.

There was extensive damage to the front porch and entry way and a portion of the attic. No injuries were reported.
