GCPD Asking Public's Help in Armed Robberies

Description matches that given for the suspect in the armed robbery in Loganville in December.

Gwinnett County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in a identifying the suspects in a series of armed robberies.

According to a press release from GCPD, the investigation began on Nov. 30, 2011, when the first incident occurred.  Since then, there have been a total of 13 such robberies in Gwinnett County, including three in the City of Norcross, one in the City of Lawrenceville and one in the City of Lilburn. The same person is suspected in all of the robberies. According to police, he has primarily targeted cell phone stores, but also has robbed two appliance stores, a tobacco shop and attempted a robbery at a Days Inn. He often entered these locations on the pretense of having business there and then a short time later went on to commit the robbery at gunpoint. He has reportedly been seen fleeing in a silver Dodge Charger in many of these instances.

Suspect description:

Black male, light skin tone

6’00” tall, 180 – 200 lbs.

Short black hair, thin mustache, thin goatee

Usually wears a baseball cap

Uses a handgun to commit the armed robberies

Vehicle description:

Silver Dodge Charger, 2006 – 2010 body style

Sun roof

Stock chrome wheels
