The suspect is responsible for four robberies in five weeks, including one at the Suntrust Bank inside a Snellville Publix

Snellville Police Chief Roy Whitehead, along with FBI Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Mark F. Giuliano and Dekalb County Interim Police Chief Lisa A. Gassner, are asking for the public's help in identifying and apprehending the suspect responsible for four armed bank robberies that occurred within the last five weeks in Lithonia and Snellville.

At 11:15 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 3, a single black male entered a branch of Suntrust Bank located inside the Publix at 1905 Scenic Highway and announced he was robbing the bank. The suspect robbed three banks prior to this. On October 26, he allegedly robbed a Best Bank inside of a Kroger (6678 Covington Highway) in Lithonia. He announced the robbery in the same way, then made off with a bag of cash.
