Fatal Wreck in Loganville

Monroe woman killed after being ejected from her vehicle

The Georgia State Patrol confirmed that a Monroe woman was killed on Broadnax Mill Road in Loganville this morning when she was ejected from her vehicle after it overturned.

“Tracy Marie Talley, age 36, was traveling north on Broadnax Mill Road in a Ford Explorer when her vehicle left the roadway and traveled down the shoulder before re-entering the roadway. The driver overcorrected and the vehicle overturned, ejecting her. Her seat belt was not in use,” said Gordy Wright, public information officer for the Georgia State Patrol.

Emergency personnel from Walton Fire Rescue, Loganville Fire, and Walton Emergency Medical Services responded to the single-vehicle accident. Talley was the only person in the vehicle. The initial plan of action was to have her flown by helicopter to a trauma center in Atlanta, but she went into cardiac arrest on scene.
