A single car accident west of Loganville claimed one life and injured three others Monday evening.
According to Lt. Paul Cosper of the Georgia State Patrol, the crash occured on Center Hill Church Road, just east of McCullers Road a little after 6 p.m. The driver, Kim Johnson, 47, of Loganville, lost control of the vehicle on the curve. According to witnesses, it left the roadway and flipped several times before coming to rest on it's wheels. Johnson's husband, Samuel Johnson, the couple's 14-year-old son, Zackery Johnson, and a friend, Zachary Paul Littlefield, 14, of Monroe, were in the car.
"Zachary Littlefield was deceased at the scene," Cosper said.

According to officials, one adult was life flighted to a trauma center, while the driver was taken by ambulance. The other child in the vehicle sustained minor injuries. Cosper said all were wearing seat belts.
The vehicle was a 2000 SUV. Cosper said he couldn't comment on any charges as the accident is still under investigation.
