Police: Couple Caught Shoplifting With Children in Tow

Police found unpaid children's clothing, various electronics, car accessories and more in their possession at Walmart.

A man and a woman were charged with shoplifting at Walmart last week with two small children in tow.

According to the Loganville Police report, the loss prevention officer spotted the two adults and kids in the Loganville superstore around 6:53 p.m. Sept. 25. The store employee saw the couple placing various items into two bags in their cart and attempting to leave.

Authorities arrived and went through the items in the bags. They discovered car seat covers removed from their packaging, a steering wheel cover without its cardboard insert, children's clothing, work gloves, two pairs of headphones, a tape measure and two MP3 players. The items totaled to $158.72.

The two were identified as Bryan Black, 21, of Marietta, and Monroe resident Angel Vaughn, 20. They were both arrested on the scene, charged with shoplifting and transported to the Walton County Jail. The children were released to relatives.
