Armed Robbery at Loganville Taco Bell

Loganville Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that took place Tuesday morning at the Taco Bell in Loganville, Ga.

An employee of in Loganville, Ga. was robbed Tuesday morning as he was leaving the restaurant to make a bank deposit, according to members of the

"The victim didn't see the gun, but said he felt it pressed up against him when he was accosted by the perpetrator," said Lt. Mike Westbrooks of the LPD. "He decribed the robber as a skinny, black male, about 6 foot 2 inches to 6 foot 4, with short dreads."

Westbrook said the man was dressed completely in black and was wearing a zippered hoodie.

"The hoodie was slightly down on his head, which is how the victim was able to see that he had short dreads," Westbrook said. "The suspect ran from the location of foot and went behind the tire store that is adjacent. He was seen getting into a black Kia Sorento that they believe already had someone else in it. They then fled the scene in the car."

The robbery reportedly took place at about 9:30 a.m., but Westbrooks said at this time they are not sure how much money was obtained.
