Armed Robber Identified in Loganville Partyland Robbery

Snellville man already in jail for several other armed robberies has been officially identified as the man who robbed Partyland in Loganville on Dec. 15.

Derrick Cage can officially add one more armed robbery to his growing list of charges - Partyland in Loganville.

The victim in the officially identified Cage as the man who held him up at gunpoint at about 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 15 demanding money from the cash register. Loganville officials have now taken out warrants to add to the charges Cage is already facing in other jurisdictions.

officer Lt. Mike Westbrooks said and picked up a couple of items like he was going to purchase them before replacing them and brandishing a gun. He instructed the victim to open the cash register and removed an undisclosed amount of money before directing the victim into a back storage room. He then told him to count to 50 before coming out, giving the suspect time to escape.

Although the victim did not see a vehicle or how the suspect left, the description of the suspect was similar to a man being sought for armed robbery in several other jurisdictions. That man turned out to be Cage, who was arrested in January at his home in unincorporated Snellville. Police have since linked him to several robberies in the area including in Lawrenceville,Β Roswell, Norcross, Snellville, Johns Creek and Lilburn. Loganville can now be added to that list.
