Another Loganville Mother Charged with DUI and Child Endangerment

A Loganville mother has been charged with child endangerment after being charged with driving under the influence while traveling with two juvenile children in the vehicle.

charged Shenicka Sherina Miller, 31, of Loganville, with child endangerment after charging her with driving under the influence while traveling with two young children in the car.

According to the report, Miller was stopped just before 1 a.m. on June 18 while traveling on Old Loganville Road. She reportedly didn't dim her lights when approaching a patrol car and was pulled over by the officer near the Fox Run subdivision. The officer reported a smell of alcohol coming from the car and that the subject appeared to have difficulty locating her driver's license. The officer said that Miller's eyes were bloodshot and glassy and she reportedly failed the field sobriety test. She reportedly admitted to having two drinks, but initially refused to take the breath test.

Two young children were in the back seat. The children were turned over to the front seat passenger, Miller's grandmother, and Miller was taken to the Walton County jail. She did submit to the state breath test, reportedly testing at 0.098 and 098 grams. Miller was charged with failure to dim her lights, DUI and two counts of child endangerment.

This was the second Loganville mother charged with child endangerment in less than a month. was charged on May 28 after she was stopped in Lawrenceville and charged with DUI while on her way from Buford to Loganville. At the time, Buice also had two young children in the car with her.

June 12

Devindraw Stevin Danraj, 18, of 986 Yancey Court, Loganville, was charged with possession/purchase of alcohol under 21, DUI - under age 21, 02 percent or more and failure to maintain lane.

June 13

Andrew Nicholas Perez, 19, of 2015 Pinehurst View Drive, Grayson, was charged with drugs - possession of marijuana (less than 1 ounce).

June 17

Toriano A. Echols, 18, Tony Anthony Jennings and Davonte Domonique Davis, all of Loganville, were charged with drugs - possession of marijuana (less than 1 ounce).

June 18

Douglas Winston Peters, 27, of 916 Rosewood Lane, Monroe, was charged with criminal trespass (city) and shoplifting (less than $300).

These individuals have been charged with, but not convicted of, the crimes listed.
