Accused Child Molester Jailed After Suicide Attempt

A Grayson, Ga. man, facing felony aggravated child molestation charges, was released from Eastside Medical Center on May 16 and taken to jail following an unsuccessful suicide attempt a week earlier.

Tion Juan Pri, 31, of Apartment 214, 1525 Grayson Highway, Grayson, Ga., was transported from Eastside Medical Center to Gwinnett Detention Center on May 16. Pri was hospitalized on May 8 after he was tracked down by Snellville police regarding charges of aggravated child molestation. , when he was located holed up in an encampment behind the Presidential Center on Highway 124 in Snellville, Pri attempted to take his own life. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was taken to Eastside Medical Center.

A week earlier, on May 4, warrants were taken on Pri regarding child molestation charges. reporting that Pri also was possibly a danger to himself. Pri had fled and was hiding out behind the Presidential Center (aka Target and Publix shopping center) in Snellville after reportedly crashing his vehicle.

Pri is currently being held in Gwinnett County Detention Center without bond. He is charged with aggravated child molestation and reckless conduct.
