3 Loganville Men Arrested in Monroe Armed Robbery

The victim was also arrested in an armed robbery that reportedly took place Monday near the Home Depot in Monroe.

Walton County Sheriff's Office confirmed that Nicholas Garner, 24, of Gum Creek Church Road, Christopher Garner, 39, of 5370 Highway 20, Lot 14, Loganville and David Autry, 28, of 2680 Leone Ave., Loganville, were arrested and charged in an armed robbery in Monroe Monday.

According to The Walton Tribune, the shots were heard by a passing Walton County Sheriff’s Office deputy. Two were arrested immediately and the third run down. The victim, Matthew Holmes, 29, of Monroe, was also arrested. He reportedly claimed the men had pulled a gun on him and robbed him of $600.

According to The Tribune, Nicholas Garner is charged with aggravated assault, armed robbery, obstruction of a law enforcement officer, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of drug-related objects, possession of Schedule IV narcotics, two counts of Schedule !! narcotics and held for another agency (outstanding warrant from Gordon County).

Christopher Garner is charged with possession of drug-related objects, possession of Schedule IV narcotics, two counts of Schedule II narcotic and held for Rockdale County on an outstanding warrant.

Autry is charged with possession of drug-related objects, obstruction of a law enforcement officer, possession of schedule IV narcotics, two counts of possession of Schedule II and held on an outstanding warrant out of Jackson County.

The victim is charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, discharging a weapon inside city limits, three counts of aggravated assault, obstruction, reckless conduct and theft by receiving stolen property because the gun was stolen.
