Claire K. Grizzard, 82, of Grayson

Claire K. Grizzard, 82, of Grayson, passed away Sunday, Dec. 15. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry C. Grizzard. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Rita Grizzard of Sandy Springs, Max and Sandy Grizzard of Lawrenceville; grandchildren, Shane Grizzard of Kissimmee, FL, Lindsey Grizzard of Grayson; one great grandson, Micah Grizzard of Grayson; sister, Nell Everett of Arkadelphia, AR, and many nieces and nephews.

Grizzard was a longtime member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church, where she was actively involved in her Sunday school class, senior adult class and other activities. She loved spending time with her loving family and many friends.

A Funeral Service to Honor the Life of Claire K. Grizzard will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 2PM at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church, with Rev. Thomas Jordan officiating. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 17, 2013 from 4PM until 8PM at the funeral home. Those desiring may make donations to the American Cancer Society.
