Snovember - in Loganville and Grayson?

Patch weather blogger Gwinnettweather predicted the possibility and now Weather.com has snow showers in its forecast Tuesday for some local areas, including Loganville and Grayson.

Weather.com has included Loganville and Grayson in its possiblity of snow on the last day of November. Flooding rains are expected to begin today, turning to snow showers by Tuesday morning. The temperatures in Loganville and Grayson are expected to reach 68 degrees by today, but only reach a high of 43 and 42 degrees respectively by Tuesday. The low on Tuesday is expected to drop down to 34.

However, Steve Brueck of Gwinnettweather expects the rain to be more of a problem than the snow.

"Most of the snow will occur to our northwest but flurries and snow showers are not out of the question for us by any stretch of the imagination," he said. "Our biggest concern will be the heavy rainfall I believe."

Temperatures are expected to drop down to 32 degrees by Wednesday, but the rain should be gone by then. Patch will keep an eye on the situation and give updates on road conditions and school closings if any occur.

The good news is that all of this should be gone in time for the Grayson Christmas Tree Lighting on Thursday and the Loganville Christmas parade on Saturday. However, warm clothes will be the order of the day for both these events as the colder temperatures are expected to remain after the precipitation leaves.
