This Week We're All About All-American

We know that all of you guys come to the market for the local produce, the freshest baked goods, and all those things that you need to complete your meals throughout the week. Heck, we know that a good portion of you guys come out to the Grayson Farmers Market on Wednesdays to spend some time in the community while you enjoy dinner in the park. Our food trucks and food vendors exemplify the quality and creativeness that our community values.

This week, Wednesday marks a special day for Americans with recognition of the 9/11 Tragedy. We will honor those who died, and those who serve to keep our nation save with a moment of silence and a few words of remembrance.

We'll also be celebrating one of the things that makes America great ... our farmers. The North Georgia 2-Cylinder Club will bring some of their tractors to Grayson for the day for an All-American Touch-A-Tractor event. Never been to one of those? It's all about the kids (o.k. ... and a few grown-ups) getting to check out the John Deere, Farmall, Ford, Allis Chalmers, International Harvester ... You can touch it, climb on it, have your photos taken with it (moms, bring your camera)!

It's going to be a beautiful afternoon in Grayson Park. Come out and enjoy the day by being part of this community event.

The Grayson Farmers Market is held each Wednesday in Grayson City Park. The fall season hours are 3:30 until around 7:30 in these late summer months; then we'll be doing 3:30 until 7:00 p.m.
