Easter Egg Hunts This Weekend

There will be several opportunities for little ones to get a jump on Easter activities this weekend.

With Easter coming up April 8, several churches and civic organizations are getting a jump on the festivities with Easter Egg hunts scheduled for Saturday, March 31.

The following opportunities are offered locally.

  • will have an at 221 Main St. in Loganville beginning at 10 a.m. tomorrow, March 31 for children up to fifth grade. Additional festivities include bounce house and fun craft projects in a safe, family environment. Admission is free. Hunts are designed for various age groups from “pretty obvious” for the little ones to “seriously challenging” for the older children. There will be special prize eggs.
  • , at 4385 Pecan St., will have its annual   starting at 10 a.m. for children ages 2 through 10. These will be split into groups with children ages 2 to 4 kicking off the festive hunt. Children are asked to limit their collections to 10 eggs so everybody has the opportunity to collect some. will be on hand for photographs. Parking will be available in the City Hall parking as well as in the Broad Street parking.
  • will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the . There will be three separate Easter Egg hunts for children from preschool age up to fifth-grade.
  • will host an Easter Egg Hunt from in the field across the road from the Hope Community Fellowship Church on Bailey Circle. Children of all ages are invited to attend. Toddlers will be given their own area. All individual, church groups, business groups, school groups, scout troops and civic organizations are invited to attend.
