Monthly SALT Triad meetings are held in Loganville the first Friday of every month in the community center at Southern Plantation. SALT is an acronym for Seniors and Law Enforcement Together. The purpose of the organization is to help reduce crime against the elderly and keep them informed of steps being taken by law enforcement to ensure their safety. In Loganville, the meetings are also used to update seniors on city and county matters and projects undertaken by the government. A breakfast is served. Attendees are asked to bring an item of canned goods to support the Shepherd Staff Ministries food bank.
Because We Care Homecare will be our sponsor in August. Be there to hear how we can continue to live in our home as we age and receive the care we need or our caregivers need.
