After months of campaigning, Election Day came and gone and the voting results are finally in for the Loganville City Council election Tuesday (Nov. 5).

Three at-large seats, currently held by Councilman Rey Martinez, Councilwoman Michelle Lynch and Vice Mayor Mark Kiddoo, were on the ballot. Voters also cast their ballots for the mayor's seat, currently held by Dan Curry. In August, two candidates qualified for the mayor's seat and seven qualified to run for council.

The results Tuesday night show that Martinez, Kiddoo and Curry have been re-elected, and candidate Chuck Bagley was voted in, too. Bagley had served on the council from 2005 to 2008.

Here's a breakdown of election numbers (the winning candidates are in bold):

For City Council
Chuck Bagley: 296 votes
Linda Dodd: 265 votes
Mark Kiddoo (incumbent): 464 votes
Rey Martinez (incumbent): 495 votes
Amanda Soesbe: 164 votes
Pedro Vega: 127 votes

City Clerk Kristi Ash announced the results before 8 p.m. Election Day. Twenty-eight people from Gwinnett and 211 Walton County residents voted in early voting. On Tuesday, 471 voters cast their ballot from Walton County and there were 70 voters from Gwinnett. A total of 780 people voted in the Loganville election.
