Vote Early in City Elections for Loganville, Grayson

Citizens can vote now through Nov. 1 for the mayor and city council candidates.

Early voting has already begun in many municipalities, including the cities of Loganville and Grayson. 

Monday (Oct. 14) was the official kickoff day for advance voting in the November 2013 general election, and it lasts until Friday, Nov. 1. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 5.

Here are the specific times and locations for casting ballots during early voting: 

City of Grayson
Monday through Friday
8:30 a.m. to noon, 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Grayson City Hall, 475 Grayson Pkwy.

City of Loganville
Monday through Friday
8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Loganville City Hall, 4385 Pecan St.

In Loganville, there are three at-large seats open on the council and the mayor's seat also is open. Those running for council are: Chuck Bagley, Amanda Soesbe, Eileen Waring, Rey Martinez (incumbent), Linda Dodd, Pedro Vega and Mark Kiddoo (incumbent). Mayor Dan Curry is running for re-election, and former councilman Jerry Price has challenged him. Check out the image above or click here for a sample ballot.

For Grayson,  Post 2, Post 4 and the mayor's seat are available. Current Councilwoman Allison Wilkerson is running unopposed for mayor, Trenton Arnold is running unopposed for Post 2, and Linda Jenkins and Laura Gavulic are running for Post 4.
