Winning Powerball Jackpot Ticket Sold in Michigan

One ticket won the third largest Powerball Jackpot Wednesday, winning $337 million for a cash option, before taxes, of $241 million.

NBC News reported that a single ticket in Michigan won the third largest jackpot in Powerball history Wednesday night. A gas station in Lapeer, Mich., reportedly sold the one ticket that comes with a cash option of $241 million, before taxes.

By the time it was drawn on Wednesday night, the pot had reportedly grown to $337 million. The winning numbers were 6, 27, 46, 51, 56 and the Powerball was 21. NBC reports the odds on winning were one in 175 million.

There were reportedly eight $1 million winners, but none were from Georgia.
