UFOs Over Georgia, This Time in Grayson

Several UFO sightings have been reported in the local area recently, Athens, Winder, Buford, Dacula and now Grayson, Ga. Is there a connection?

Several UFO sightings have been reported in the local area recently on UFO Stalker, a website that tracks reported UFO sightings throughout the country. The most recent one was May 19, 2012 in Grayson. This was the report of a sighting, reported to have been witnessed by five adults.

I walked outside my house on back deck around 2100 on May 19, 2012. I looked up toward tree tops and noticed a very large deep orange pulsating ball of light that appeared to be moving slowly at first, then shoot upward and disappear in 2-3 seconds. My view of the object was never obscured. As I excitedly called out to my family to come see, another approached in the exact same path coming from the north toward southeast. The view was from approx 4 miles away to over my area in 5 seconds to shoot upward in a 45 degree angle completely out of sight in 2-3 seconds. A total of 9 objects about the size of a football field were observed by 5 adults in my household. No sound, no emissions, just very bright pulsating lights. My husband said he could see that each object had 3-tiered lights that surrounded each. The night was quiet, no dogs barking, no other planes or helicopters were seen during sightings. After the last one was gone, regular airplane traffic was seen in the far distance. Everyone in my house was excited, in awe, not afraid, just currious as to what we had just witnessed.

A similar sighting of a last month as well as in Athens, Dacula and Buford. According to the UFO Stalker report, in Buford the viewer watched as the object zigzagged across the sky before it eventually disappeared behind the tree line.

"I don't claim it to be any aliens from another planet. For all I know, it could have been the latest US Air Force, top secret, air craft or space craft. I know what I saw and IT WAS COOL," he said in the report.

Some of the sighting coincided with the annual Lyrids meteor shower which began April 16 and ended on April 26. This latest one, however, did not.

If you live in the Grayson area, tell us if you saw something similar on Saturday night?

We live just off of Grayson highway. Saw some orange light but thought maybe it was heat lightning. Was calling the dog in and ducked back in quickly but I also had 2 drinks so I cannot be a credible witness...

Thanks for the info awd. It makes me wonder how many drinks the other five adults had before seeing the images. :) Just sayin'

Wow, it's very interesting. Especially since more than one UFO's was spotted, and it sounds like this area is having these occurances. Has anyone checked the local airport radar records? That would be a sight if they were recorded!

How many drinks do you need sharon to believe that unprecedented events are taking place, worldwide, in a very compressed time frame........jim.

A friend and I witnessed orange/amber orbs along the coast of Georgia (Savannah-Tybee) back in 1980. There were similar sightings at about the same time nearby. Nobody listens when you talk about these things. If it had been a crime you saw or something like some Hollywood star doing something wrong... you would have the attention of the whole world. It's a shame but... you come to expect it.

Think about it, why would god or whom it is you believe in, why would he only make our planet the only one with living matter? Every planet was put here for a reason dont you think?

Jim, I really am not an unbeliever. I think it is extremely unlikely, given the number of stars and planets out there, that we are the only life form around. But I did find it amusing that awd discredited himself as a credible witness based on having something to drink. SETI is asking for citizen scientists to help search for other life forms. Here's a link to the story. http://patch.com/A-t2z9

I live in Forsyth County Georgia and saw two orange glowing globes in the sky on Saturday Night May 19th. I took a picture on my cell phone. They floated together, no sound, slowly above the tree line, moving up and down, and then disappeared behind the trees toward Dawson Forrest. I want answers.

My daughter saw a orb like light moving from west to east last year. Very similar sighting. The hight of the object must have been around 10k feet, no sound, moving at about Mach 2. This was just south of Dawson forest in Cumming, Ga..

I saw one just today driving on 575 toward 75 at about exit 8. There were five lights 1 green pulsating and four white. I figured since it was so low it must have been a helicopter, but it flew directly overhead and its shape was that of a slim "v". Wasn't very big in size from what I could tell, about the size of a helicopter.

Don't forget to report these to the UFO sightings site.

I hope in the age of cell phones we can get some pictures of these things. After studying air traffic control in college their are many things unexplained on the radar. Maybe start matching the time, and locations, and every few months have someone go down to the local airport and verify if they were detected on the radar-airport allowing of course.
