Readers' Choice: Best Place to Celebrate St. Paddy's Day

March 17 is St. Patrick's Day. Where do you think is the best place in Loganville or Grayson to celebrate this time-honored Irish tradition?

While St. Patrick's Day was initiated in 1783 in Dublin, Ireland, by the Knights of St. Patrick as a religious holiday, it has morphed worldwide into a day of eating, drinking and the wearing of green. Many local pubs and restaurants are expected to celebrate St. Paddy's Day in this way on Saturday.

in Loganville will be celebrating by serving traditional Irish dishes such as Shepherd's pie, corned beef and cabbage and, of course, good ole green beer. They will also have live music by the band Crime Scene.

With St. Paddy's Day expected to be widely celebrated locally on March 17, choosing the best place to celebrate it seemed like the most logical pick for this week's Readers' Choice. We have listed the local watering holes most likely to celebrate St. Patricks Day on Saturday. Let us know your choice by voting for your favorite place in Loganville or Grayson to celebrate. Consideration will also be given to the number of comments made in support of a nominee as well as the number of reviews and ratings given on the listing in our Places directory.

If there is anyone missing, please let us know in comments and we will add it. Also, if you are the owner of one of the places that will be celebrating, please let us know in comments what your plans are and add the event to our Events calendar. The easiest way to do this is by claiming your listing first and then adding the event.

Voting will remain open until 9 a.m. Friday and the winner will be announced at noon. Your recommendations will not only help your favorite watering hole get the recognition, rating and reviews it deserves, but it will also help your friends and neighbors get an idea on where to celebrate this time-honored Irish tradition close to home. We just ask that you only vote, comment and rate and review once in order for it to be counted for your favorite nominee.

These are the places included in the poll.
