Mobile Career Center Comes to Gwinnett

The Atlanta Regional Workforce Board is bringing its mobile career center to Gwinnett County. Stops are Thursdays throughout the rest of the year.

In an effort to raise employment numbers in Gwinnett County, a mobile career center will visit two local branches throughout the rest of the year. 

Beginning Thursday, the mobile center will be parked at the Centerville branch and the Lawrenceville branch. An initiative of the Atlanta Regional Workforce Board, the mobile center will be out and about until at least December. 

In the morning from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., the mobile center will be in Centerville. In the afternoon from 1:30 p.m. - 4 p.m., the mobile center will be in Lawrenceville. It arrives on Thursdays only. 

Specific dates: 

  • July 18
  • August 1 and 15 and 29
  • September 12 and 26
  • October 10 and 24
  • November 7 and 21
  • December 12

Services offered:
  • Access to computer workstations, photocopying and printing
  • Resume and interview skills assistance
  • Resource materials for job searching and career guidance
  • Workforce Investment Act training opportunities
