Gwinnett County Hiring for Customer Service, Grounds Maintenance and Additional Jobs

Openings include food services supervisor, customer service associate and building services coordinator.

The Gwinnett County government is hiring for the following positions. Click the job titles to access additional information and to apply.  

Food service supervisor, part time — Responsible for supervising cooks and/or inmates in the preparation of food and the coordination of kitchen activities. High school diploma or GED required, as well as three years of experience as a cook and a food services training certificate. 

Grounds maintenance associate I with Department of Community Services — Responsible for performing routine maintenance of grounds, such as mowing grass, picking up trash, janitorial tasks and basic equipment maintenance at Bay Creek Park. Applicants need basic knowledge of grounds maintenance practices and equipment and janitorial skills. High school diploma or GED required, as well as a valid Georgia driver's license.

Customer service associate II, part time — Responsible for providing complex office support to department customers. Employee processes applications, conducts research, assists with training and completes daily work orders. Qualifications include three years of customer service experience to include one year of service in call center environment, a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license. 

Building services coordinator — Responsible for supervising employees and ensuring that a clean and safe workplace is maintained or planning and implementing custodial, maintenance, office design and layout, or other building services activities. Three years of related experience is required, as well as a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license and CPR and First Aid certifications.
