Job description: Performs technical work in receiving in-coming emergency and non-emergency calls, and dispatching calls for law enforcement, fire, EMS, rescue and other services to appropriate personnel in an accurate, timely and professional manner.
Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma or GED supplemented by six to nine months of experience in communications or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
