According to the amended ordinances, the packaged sale of alcohol will be allowed between the hours of 12:30 and 11:30 p.m. on a Sunday. In addition, LBTD can be served in restaurants between 12:30 p.m. and midnight on a Sunday.

There has been much speculation that some of the high end restaurant chains have resisted coming into the city because of the need to change up the menu on a Sunday with regard to alcohol sales. It remains to be seen whether allowing for LBTD on a Sunday will now bring more restaurants in.
