Walton Community Invited to Tour New Hospital
Official opening of Clearview Regional Medical Center in Monroe is scheduled for April 22. The public is invited to an open house on March 31.
The new hospital in Walton County is almost ready to open and the community will have an opportunity this weekend to get their first look at the completed building. The new facility, named Clearview Regional Medical Center, will have an open house on March 31.
“We want the public to see inside before we do the final stocking and cleaning for the official opening on April 22,” said Stacy Jones, chief development officer for Walton's regional hospital system. “The public can see all behind the scenes and learn more about their new hospital.”
Construction on the new hospital, located on West Spring Street across the road from Walmart and Home Depot, began in 2008. It went on hold for a while in 2009 with the initial downturn in the economy, but picked back up again a year later and is now on track to open next month.
