Carmike Cinemas to Host Kids Summer Movie Series

Carmike Cinemas, including Bethlehem and Snellville will play host to a summer movie series geared toward children and their families, and tickets are just $2.

Schools out and parents are looking at ways to keep the little ones entertained without breaking the bank. Carmike Cinemas has a way to help out.

Starting Thursday next week, Carmike Cinemas is offering Kids Summer Movie Series at the in Bethlehem and Carmike 12 in Snellville. 

During the summer movie series, a number of popular, family-friendly films will be shown throughout the summer months beginning June 7 through Aug. 9, and showtimes will be at 10 a.m. every Thursday.

This year’s series offers the “complete package.” Each attendee will receive admission to the show plus a small 16-ounce drink and small 53-ounce popcorn for just $2. All remaining concession items will be available for purchase at regular prices. It’s hard to beat a buttered popcorn breakfast!

Mark your calendars: The following feature films are scheduled for the Carmike Cinemas Kids Summer Movie Series at Bethlehem’s Gateway Cinemas 12 and Carmike in Snellville:

  • July 5 — Shark Tale
  • July 12 — How To Train Your Dragon
  • July 19 — Madagascar 2

  • Aug. 2 — Monsters vs Aliens
  • Aug. 9 — Megamind

Glad to help Amy. I've been there and remember how quickly those little tykes can get bored too! I think they're just as happy to go back to school at the end of summer as we are to send them back. :) We'll find as much as we can to help you keep them amused over the summer.
