Curry in as Mayor, Boland New Loganville City Council Member

Curry will have to run again in November to hold onto the mayoral seat. Boland will serve the remaining two and a half years of Curry's seat on the Loganville City Council.

Although no candidate qualified to run against him, Dan Curry was elected mayor of Loganville in a special election on June 18, 2013. He will serve until the end of the year at which time he will have to run again. Newcomer Jay Boland was elected to take Curry's seat on the council for the remaining two and a half years of his term. Boland and former Walton County Commissioner Chuck Bagley qualified to run for Curry's seat when he resigned to run for mayor. Boland received 167 votes and Bagley received 116. Curry received 237 votes.
