Corn Dawgs Reveal 'Duck Dynasty' Design for 2013 Maze

The corn field near Loganville will debut the design based off the A&E television show on Sept. 22.

Now in its fifth year, Corn Dawgs Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch in Walnut Grove has revealed its theme design for the fall.

A likeness of Si Roberston from the A&E television show “Duck Dynasty”, along with his famous saying “Hey Jack” will be carved into the 7-acre corn maze, according to a news release from Corn Dawgs. The Si Roberston corn maze will feature 3.5 miles of twists and turns and will take visitors 1.5 to 2 hours to complete.

Corn Dawgs Corn Maze features more than 35 attractions for the whole family, including hayrides, jumping pillows and pedal cars. Kids of all ages and their parents can enjoy the multiple mazes and playgrounds with areas specifically for different age groups.

A new feature this year will be the interactive application “Farm Scene Investigation.” Visitors can download a free app to their mobile device that features hints throughout the corn maze and will lead them to the correct maze path. The app will work similar to the board game “Clue” and will provide an added form of entertainment for all visitors to enjoy. A book that corresponds with the adventure will also be for sale in the Corn Dawgs General Store.

The maze will be open Sept. 22 and run through Nov. 3rd on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The hours of operation are Fridays from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. This year’s opening weekend features a full rodeo on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 20 and 21, with the maze opening on Sunday.
