Wind Chill Below Freezing Predicted for Loganville and Grayson Monday

The National Weather Service predicts temperatures of 39 degrees Monday, dropping to below freezing when the wind chill is factored in.

Bundle up students before sending them to the bus stop Monday - old man winter is stirring.

Weather.com reports that the National Weather Service is predicting that in Loganville and Grayson temperatures will drop below 40 degrees by 6 a.m. When the wind chill is factored in, that drops below freezing and as low as 30 degrees by 7 a.m.

Walton County students will be returning to school after last week's fall break.  Gwinnett County students won't be off until the week of Thanksgiving, so students from both counties will be headed for the school bus stop Monday. Although it is predicted to be sunny, the temperature is still not expected to break 55 for a high all day.

It looks like we've finally put summer behind us.
