Shepherd's Staff Benefits from a Caring Community

Greater Eastside Chamber of Commerce delivers 2 truck loads to the ministry to help families in need during this holiday season.

The Greater Eastside Chamber of Commerce went beyond the bounds of networking and business alliances at their December luncheon. Members were asked to bring food donations to replenish the shelves of the Shepherd's Staff Ministries during this holiday season.

Members gave back to the community they serve in a big way with cash and food donations to help families in need, especially during this holiday season. Jamie Dempsey, President of the GECC, was pleased to lead 2 truck loads of provisions to the ministry after the meeting.

"GECC is proud to have partnered with Shepherd Staff this holiday season." said Dempsey. "And we sincerely thank the businesses who helped make this the largest single drive that the ministry had this year. With such a need in our community, it's great to see the businesses in our area giving back to the people who give us so much."
