Loganville Woman's Weight Loss Success Featured on National Television Show

After losing 191 pounds naturally, on her own, Loganville's Kristy Olds was featured Monday on the Robin Meade Show in a clip titled, "New Year, New You."

Loganville resident and Patch blogger Kristy Olds has been inspiring local residents with her amazing weight loss. Now she has expanded her reach to a national audience.

This morning Olds was featured on HLN on the Robin Meade show. If you didn't get an opportunity to see the interview, here is a link to the feature on the Internet.

After giving birth to her son more than four years ago, Olds weighed in at 330 pounds. The birth itself had its complications, resulting in Olds spending some time in the ICU with severe preeclampsia, pulmonary edema and cardiomyopathy. So when she was asked by a friend to participate in the 1st Annual Promise Walk for Preeclampsia, she agreed immediately and that was the beginning of what turned out to be a complete change in lifestyle for the Loganville woman. Not only did she eventually lose the weight she needed to, but she also helped raise money for causes close to her heart in the process. Olds has since written a health and fitness lifestyle transformation program, Move Your Body Transformation Program, based on what she did to lose the weight. There is also a link to this program on HLN.

Olds has a blog on Loganville-Grayson Patch, titled "Ask Kristy." Anyone struggling with their own weight loss who would like to pose a question to Kristy for the blog can do so by emailing her at kristy.moveyourbody@gmail.com)
