Last Chance to Vote in Loganville Special Election

The Special Election to find the new mayor to replace the late Mayor Ray Nunley and the city council seat of Dan Curry, who was the only person to qualify for the mayoral seat, takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. June 18.

If you haven't yet voted in the City of Loganville Special Election, Tuesday, June 18, 2013 is your last opportunity to do so.

The Special Election to fill the seat of former Councilman

Two candidates qualified for Curry's seat, former Walton County District 2 Commissioner Chuck Bagley and newcomer Jay Boland. Curry resigned to run to serve out the remainder of the late Mayor Ray Nunley's term. He was the only candidate to qualify and is effectively the mayor-elect. His name, however, will still appear on the ballot. He is currently off the council until after Tuesday's election.
