Serving the Community - Gwinnett Children's Shelter

The holidays are a good time to remember local charities that may need your help. Today we spotlight the Gwinnett Children's Shelter.

Located in Buford, Gwinnett Children's Shelter runs every day and serves more than 150 youth annually in Gwinnett County. Females ages 12 to 18 and males ages 12 to 21 can receive help here.Β 

Services include: runaway and homeless youth, guardian placement, children in protective custody and a transitional living program for young men.

Family counseling, parent classes, educational services and enrichment activities also are availble.

Current needs of the shelter include: school supplies, bedroom and bathroom neccessities, personal care items, medical supplies, kitchen supplies, cleaning supplies, and program needs (gift cards, passes to amusement parks, birthday gifts and more).
