First Day of Fall, Time to Get Ready for Leafwatch 2012

Today is the first day of fall and Georgia State Parks are gearing up for Leafwatch 2012.

Today is the first day of Autumn and for many it ushers in the best time of the year - the cooler weather, beginning of the harvest and time to get ready for Georgia State Park's Leafwatch 2012.

Check on the Georgia State Parks's Leafwatch 2012 website from Oct. 1 for the best places to see the emerging Georgia Fall Foliage.

We are looking for pictures to be able to show the changing of the season in Loganville and Grayson on the Facebook Page. Upload your pictures here as you watch the community transition from summer, to fall and eventually to winter. We will use the changing photos as a backdrop on the Loganville-Grayson Facebook page between now and Christmas. This beautiful fall photograph came to us last year from Sherry Lambert.
