Primrose School at Sugarloaf Parkway Students Celebrate Independence Day

(Lawrenceville, GA) In anticipation of Independence Day, some of our nation’s youngest and brightest are showing their patriotic pride and sharing their own thoughts on citizenship and patriotism. Primrose School at Sugarloaf Parkway students commemorated the Fourth of July at their annual Red, White and Blue parade on Thursday, July 3rd. Not only did students have fun parading around with hand-made patriotic arts and crafts, but they have been engaged in classroom activities teaching the importance of citizenship and patriotism.

Students learn about teamwork, cooperation and following rules as “citizens” of the school and classroom.  They also learn about citizenship through activities and books.  The citizenship program is part of Primrose Schools Balanced Learning® System which blends academics, play and character development. 

As another way to celebrate patriotic pride and our country’s independence, students were asked to share their perspective on citizenship:
