Motorcyclist Dies After High-Speed Police Chase in Walton County

Zone 2
Chase – Georgia State Patrol and Social Circle Police Department engaged in a pursuit with a motorcycle in Newton County within the Social Circle City limits. The subject crashed into a stop sign. The subject was operating without headlights in excess of 100MPH. The subject died at the scene.
Vehicle Accident – A tractor trailer was struck by a CSX train at the intersection of Knox Chapel and East Hightower Trail.
Zone 6
Arrest – Jessica Parkerson was arrested on Fieldcrest Rd. in Castlewood subdivision in reference to an outstanding warrant.
Zone 7
Disorderly Conduct – A subject was charged with Disorderly Conduct after a dispute with an ex-girlfriend at a residence on Cannon Farm Rd.
Chase – Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office chased a subject into Walton County in a stolen Nissan Altima. The chase ended when the subject crashed at the intersection of Michael Etchison Rd. @ Ammons Bridge Rd. The subject was arrested.
