Killed Canine, Opened Mailboxes and More Reported Crimes in Walton County
The Walton County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls Nov. 22-24.

Zone 1
Theft – a lawn mower was taken from a residence on Cannon Farm Rd.
Zone 3
Suspicious Activity – Numerous mailboxes on Ridgeway Drive were opened. Mail theft was reported.
Burglary – The back door at a vacant residence on Pleasant Valley Rd. was kicked in. Nothing was taken from the residence.
Zone 4
Suspicious Activity – A canine was killed on Appalachee Falls in Appalachee Falls subdivision.
Zone 5
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Fairwinds Drive in Fairwinds subdivision.
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on River landing Drive in Alcovy River Landing subdivision.
Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested in Alcovy River Landing in reference to an unknown male walking through the area.
Juvenile Problem – Juveniles were found loitering in the parking lot behind a business on Bold Springs Rd. One of the juveniles were found to be in possession of marijuana.
Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested in Shadow Creek subdivision in reference to suspicious vehicles driving through the area.
Zone 6
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Fieldcrest Rd. in Castlewood subdivision.
Arrest – A subject was arrested on Youth Monroe Rd. in Youth Mobile Home Park for disorderly conduct.
Suspicious Person – An intoxicated person was found on Claude Brewer Rd.
Zone 7
Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm at a residence on Cedar Way in Cedar Lakes subdivision.
Theft – An electric golf cart and a firearm were taken from an open garage on Giles Rd.
Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested in Meridian Lake subdivision in reference to a suspicious white Acura riding in the area.
