Attention Parents!
The UGA Department of Foods and Nutrition is currently seeking participants for new research on bone health and growth in adolescents. For this study, we will enroll healthy 9-13 year old white females. The study will last 4 weeks and participants will visit our laboratory in Dawson Hall for a total of two weekend morning appointments. Participants will receive bone scans that contain a low x-ray and provide information on bone strength and body composition. Blood sample will be required and participants receive a $50 payment.
