I've yet to hear anything good about their customer service. I've heard it from a wide variety ofRead Morepe ople. I'd like to get Charter, but they aren't in most areas. maybe if enough people e-mailed Charters corporate and told them that Comcast could stand to lose most of their customers and that many would like to change to Charter, maybe they'd find a way to expand to more areas.

Tammy, No company is 100%. BTW, my county is the franchisee for Comcast, so that's why they are all Read Morethere is, besides AT&T, in my county. The county is making money. That may be the case in your area too. There are also complaints about Charter and AT&T. As a neighbor said, "Comcast is the devil and AT&T is his brother." ;-) Well, I prefer the devil's brother. At least when I returned to them after being in Comcast's clutches for only one month, and still am, AT&T took care of the problems that I was having initially, apologized, gave me credit to my account where it was due, etc. Comcast is not about to give up a dollar, they just take, take and abuse people. I'm thinking the people who we do not hear from are those with a zillion sports channels and an income where they just pay whatever is on the invoice from Comcast. It is amazing how much they billed me for the first partial month of service. You can go on Facebook and enter Comcast in the search box and the first icon has complaints from customers. It is not very visible, but may be to the right of the page. There is also another icon when you enter Comcast in search, and the name of that link is self-explanatory. They pay someone to monitor the page & respond to the complaints, although that does not guarantee customer satisfaction because Comcast wants the dollars. This is what happens when there is a monopoly, as I'm sure you know. Just wait to see what our 3 major domestic airlines lay on us; they have already started. Comcast is owned by very large investment companies, Google "Who owns Comcast." Just imagine what customer service will be like once the Time Warner acquisition is done. I have not seen anything about it lately, so it may be done. YIKES!!

I like what Roosevelt said, "If it happens in politics, you can bet it was planned thatRead Moreway&quo t;. Getting re-elected was the order of the day. The difference between this attack and others, is that #1, under Bush the embassy attacks were taking place mostly in Iraq, and during a time of acknowledged war — right in the thick of it, in fact — and no one tried to argue that they were anything but planned and executed attacks. And, #2, during the Clinton years, the attacks, which took place an average of every 18 months, were recognized as planned, organized attacks and no one tried to argue that they were anything different, either.================= # 3...And while our embassies were attacked under these presidents, and others, none of our Ambassadors were murdered (along with Navy Seals) while multiple stand-down orders were given against mounting a rescue. Neither the Bush nor Clinton administrations sought to mischaracterize the attacks on their embassies. ==================== #4...Neither one of their Secretaries of State first stated, two days after the event, that they would not talk about the attack, declared to congress “what does it matter” or fell back on stereotypical behavior of yelling and emotionalism to distract the press and scare her mostly-male congressional inquisitors into silence. And, # none of their Secretary of State’s successors started out his term by quickly announcing that he didn’t intend to talk about the attacks, either. But mostly,#5, the reason “no one investigated” attacks under Bush or Clinton is because no one lied about what they were, or refused to be clear about what their responses had been. ====================================== That. brothers and sisters, is what difference it makes.
