Several months ago, I contacted OCSD concerning my Wildlife Control business and they were kind enough to put a link directly to my website on their page. Today I contacted them and asked if they offered Civilian Firearms Training. I was told that they do and classes begin in March. There will be class time and range time. At the range, you will be shooting targets at 21 ft. which is standard engagement distance. I will be receiving the schedule by email and will post it, and any cost involved, on here when I do. The instructor didn't say anything about a cost for the class but even if there is I would think it would be reasonable and what you learn would be well worth it. My entire family is attending. I did contact Walton County but did not receive a response.
