A number of restaurants with locations locally are offering freebies to those who served our country.
Several Lawrenceville, Ga. restaurants will celebrate Veterans Day on Sunday by offering deals to active and past service members.

This Veterans' Day, a number of local restaurants are once again giving away free meals to our nation's bravest.
We've compiled a list of places with local restaurants that offer specials for Veterans. While Veterans Day is officially on Sunday, November 11th it is being observed on Monday, November 12th. Each restaurant's participation may vary. Most require a form of military identification
- Applebee's - Free signature entree on Sunday, November 11th, 2012.
- Arby's - Free Arby's Roast Beef Sandwich
- Chili's - On Sunday, November 11, 2012 from 11am to 5pm, veterans and active-duty military can choice from seven free meals.
- Golden Corral - On Monday between 4pm and 9pm, get a free Veterans Day free meal.
- Little Caesars Pizza - Get a free order of Crazy Bread with valid ID Sunday.
- Longhorn Steakhouse - On Monday, get a free appetizer and drink.
