Walton County officials have confirmed that Richard Jenkins resigned his position as the new Walton County Coroner today. Jenkins, who beat incumbent coroner Joseph Page in a run off election in August, served only 2 days in the office.
Probate Judge Bruce Wright is handling the appointment of an interim coroner.
