Veterans Day Ceremony in Grayson Nov. 10
Ceremony will include reading of "In Flanders Field" Poem, the playing of TAPS and music by the Jerry Brill Group and Brownie Troop 3351..
At 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, the City of Grayson will host a Veterans Day Ceremony in honor of those who have served this country. The event will take place at the Grayson United Methodist Church.
Music will be provided by the Jerry Brill Group and by Brownie Troop 3351. Special guests include:
- Jack Britt, WWII Veteran, U.S. Navy
- Richard Weeks - Vietnam Veteran, U.S. Army
- H.J. "Walt" Walter - Vietnam Veteran, U.S. Naval Aviator
Cassie Bledsoe of Legion Auxiliary Unit 232 will read "In Flanders Field" and Grayson Mayor Jim Hinkle (USMC, Retired) will read the Commandant's Birthday message. Rick Woodham will play TAPS.
The community is invited to join the City of Grayson at the Grayson United Methodist Church to honor the veterans who have served in the U.S. military.
